My Logo

This is my logo that I created in the first semester of NMD.
I chose this design to represent one of my favourite things to do, and one of the ways I could make money. Video editing. The play button represents the videos that I edit, and I used it instead of the O to fit it in well. The layers fading behind the text represents the layers of video required to skillfully edit a video. It often takes many many layers in order to finish a completed video. They also represent the style of editing in which I used to do, the beginnings into my After Effects and Premiere Pro journey was spent making intros with text that looked like this. I chose this blocky font to represent stability, because if you get me to edit your video, I will have it out done well and on time. I built this logo in black and white so that it will work anywhere. If you cannot have the fading layers, then you can just simply replace them with an outline of it and it would almost look the same. I believe this logo is good because the first thing most people think of when they see the play button is a video, and the blocky text represents reliability, and the layers represent that I edit the videos well and I know what I’m doing. I believe that reliability is one of the most important features when editing videos for other people, and that’s why I chose to represent it in my logo. On the other hand, quality over quantity. That’s why I chose layers to represent that I edit it well.
