I was requested to create some maps for the LRSD international student program. These maps were to be used for the recruiters in other countries to explain to families about Canada and Winnipeg. In order to create these maps, I was requested by one of the leaders of the program. She requested a school division map of Winnipeg, and a map of Canada that shows Winnipeg and all of the other major cities. This was a challenge due to the annoying islands at the top, and the fact that there was not that much to work off of when it comes to the LRSD map. I overcame this challenge by creating the maps in Illustrator and Photoshop, then tweaking them to meet the Division’s needs. This is one of my most accomplished projects and I belive that the projects turned out well.<\/p>\n
